Berton Vineyards

TOP BRANDED SALES OF AUSTRALIAN WINE

Berton Vineyards was established in 1996 by Bob and Cherie Berton when they purchased a block of land in High Eden, a subregion of the Barossa Valley, South Australia. This idyllic property sits 450m above sea level on gently rolling hills – except for the Chardonnay block which is anything but gentle. In November 2005, they invested in the new winery in Yenda, NSW and began the memorable vintage of 2006.

The Yenda Winery has grown into one of the 20 largest wineries in Australia (Wine Industry Directory 2018) and in the top 12 for branded sales.

From them first vineyard in Eden Valley, Berton Vineyards now enjoys a close partnership with several important vineyards. The brand’s Reserve, Metal lines are produced from grapes from the regions of Coonawarra, Tasmania, Swan Valley, King Valley and Yarra Valley – the leading regions of Australian wine.

Today, Berton Vineyards owns a diverse product portfolio that ranges from premium wines to mainstream shoulder bottles at competitive prices. Berton Vineyards also produces wines from a variety of grape varieties from both traditional and innovative varieties.
